What are the membership fees? 

Optimus offer two levels of membership. 

Our standard membership is £30 per month with a £30 joining fee, this will give you unlimited access to the gym and to all of our classes as well as access to our FitSense app. Over 50's and students will be able to access this membership for £25 per month with a £25 joining fee.

Our classes only membership is £20 per month with no joining fee, this will give you access to all of the classes at Optimus and access to the FitSense app to be able to book into the classes. However you will not be able to use the gym.

How do I become a member?

There are two ways to become a member either visit our online registration page or come and visit us at the gym. 

If you would like to come have a look before joining the gym then this is completely fine, a member of the team will give you a guided tour and answer any questions that you may have. 

Can I buy a day pass? 

Yes you can! 

To purchase a day pass either visit our online shop, once we have received your purchase we will contact you to confirm that you are booked in. 

If you would like a day pass for our non booked training sessions (Mon - Fri 8am to 4.30pm and all day Sat and Sun) then please feel free to pop into reception and purchase one with a member of the team. 

Can I pay per class? 

Yes you can! 

To purchase a day pass either visit our online shop, once we have received your purchase we will contact you to confirm that you are booked in. You can only book classes online as numbers are restricted per class and you cannot just turn up to a class. 

Do I get an induction?

Yes you do! 

Optimus offer inductions to new members, however if you are an experienced gym user then you can opt out of an induction. Optimus also offer a gym intro package where you can purchase 6 sessions with a personal trainer for £90 where you complete a workout programme to give you more structure and top tips for training in the gym. 

Does Optimus offer Personal Trainers?

Optimus work with a number of personal trainers, each personal trainer has their own training style, a member of the team can direct you to the best person for your preferred choice of training.  

How do I cancel my membership? 

To cancel your membership you will need to give Optimus 30 days notice from the next calendar month, this must be in writing to enquiries@optimusgym.co.uk please do not cancel your direct debit as you will put your membership in arrears. 

How do I make a complaint? 

To make a complaint please email Optimus on enquiries@optimusgym.co.uk and a member of the management team will look to resolve this for you.
