Optimus standard membership is £33 per month with a £30 joining fee; this will give you unlimited access to the two locations, Rustington and Chichester, it also gives you access to all of our classes (available at Rustington only) and our FitSense app.
Over 50’s, students and those who works in the industrial estate will access this membership for £27.50 per month with a £25 joining fee.
Our classes-only membership is available at rustington gym only and is £20 per month with no joining fee; this will give you access to all of the classes and access to the FitSense app to book the classes. However, you will not be able to use the gym.
Ps: Chichester does not offer classes.
Yes, your membership is all-inclusive to both gyms and their classes.
3. How do I become a member?
There are two ways to become a member, either visit the gym and we will sign you up in person, or online via the links below.
If you’d like to check out the gym before joining, you’re welcome to visit anytime. A team member will give you a guided tour and answer any questions you may have. No appointment is needed, and it’s completely free
4. Can I buy a day pass?
Yes, you can!
To purchase a day pass, just click the links below for your chosen gym, or you can buy at the reception. They are £8.00, and you can turn up as we don’t have a booking slots system. However, if it gets too busy, we have a one in one-out policy.
5. Can I pay per class?
Yes, you can!
Members get access to our Fitsense app, where they can book classes and manage their bookings.
Non-members – to purchase a class pass, visit our online shop once we have received your purchase, we will contact you to confirm that you are booked in. you can only book classes online as numbers are restricted per class, and you cannot just turn up to a class.
6. Do I get an induction?
Yes, you do!
Optimus offers inductions to new members, Inductions are carried out by one of th personal trainers. However, if you are an experienced gym user, you can opt-out of an induction.
7. Do we have a dress code?
Yes, please dress in sportswear.

9. Does Optimus offer Personal Trainers?
Optimus works with approved personal trainers, a member of the team can direct you to the best person for your preferred choice of training. Get in touch with them or fill out a form on the website.
10. How do I cancel my membership?
To cancel your membership, you will need to give Optimus 30 days’ notice from the next calendar month; this must be in writing to enquiries@optimusgym.co.uk; please do not cancel your direct debit as you will put your membership in arrears.
11. How do I give feedback?
To give feedback or suggestion, you can speak to a member of staff or a manager or leave us a review of Google.
12. How do I make a complaint?
To make a complaint, please email Optimus at enquiries@optimusgym.co.uk, and a member of the management team will look to resolve this for you.
If you would like to come to have a look before joining the gym, this is completely fine. A member of the team will give you a guided tour and answer any questions that you may have. This is free and doesn’t need an appointment booked.
